Entry Guidelines - Terms and conditions
How to Enter:
1. How to Create Your Dream Date:
For Women:
Download the Catch Me If You Can (CMIYC) app.
Create your profile with three genuine photos of yourself, ensuring your face is clearly visible, and review our Community Guide.
Access 'Dream Mode' to create your entry.
To learn how to use the Dream Module, watch the YouTube video at the top. A YouTube tutorial is available.
Click ‘Create a New Dream’.
Choose what kind of dream you want.
Select where you want to go.
Upload at least one photo.
Select who might be interested in your dream.
Select a date and time.
Write a name for your dream (be creative).
Write a description of what your dream date will be like.
Click ‘Continue’.
And publish your Dream Date!
Post your Dream Date on Instagram with #NewYork #NYCdreamdate and tag @catchmeifyoucanapp, we will repost it!
Remember: Your Dream Date should be creative, unique, and reflective of your personal style and romantic vision.

Click ‘Create a New Plan’.
Choose what kind of plan you want.
Select where you want to go.
Upload at least one photo.
Select who might be interested in your plan.
Select a date and time.
Write a name for your plan (be creative).
Write a description of what your plan date will be like.
Click ‘Continue’.
And publish your Plan Date!
Post your Plan Date on Instagram with #NewYork #NYCplandate and tag @catchmeifyoucanapp, we will repost it!

2. Share Your Date Plan and Dream on Instagram: All four steps are mandatory for eligibility:
Create an Instagram post featuring your dream\plan date. This can include:
A visually appealing image or video representing your date (e.g., a mood board, a collage, a short video walkthrough).
A detailed caption describing your date plan, including locations, activities, and the overall romantic atmosphere.
You can also present the plan through a carousel post, or a reel.
Use the official campaign hashtag: #NewYork #NYCdreamdate #NYCplandate
Tag the official CMIYC Instagram account: @catchmeifyoucanapp
Follow @catchmeifyoucanapp: Ensure you are following the @catchmeifyoucanapp Instagram account to be eligible for the prize.
FYI: Failure to complete all four steps will result in disqualification.
3. Eligibility:
Participants must be residents of New York City.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Participants must have a public Instagram account.
Participants must have access to the CMIYC application.
CMIYC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant.
4. Judging Criteria:
Participant Requests (50%): We will see how many people apply to participate in your Dream\Plan date. Whoever has the most, earns the most points.
Creativity and Originality (25%): How unique and creative is your Dream\Plan date.
Instagram Post (25%): Your Instagram post will also help you win. It can be an image, video, story, carousel—get creative!
FYI: CMIYC reserves the right to adjust judging criteria as needed to ensure fairness and integrity.
5. Prizes:
1st Place: $500 (USD) Check.
2nd Place: $300 (USD) Check.
3rd Place: $200 (USD) Check.
FYI: Winners are responsible for cashing the check within 30 days of receipt. CMIYC is not responsible for any issues related to check cashing.
6. Important Notes:
CMIYC reserves the right to eliminate, disqualify, or ban any user and content based on our subjective criteria, including but not limited to, content we deem dishonest, unfair, not in good faith, unsafe, unfriendly, or in violation of our Community Guidelines.
CMIYC is not responsible for any moral, financial, or legal liability arising from participation in this contest, including but not limited to, any events, incidents, or outcomes that occur during or as a result of the dream or plan dates created by participants. Our maximum total liability is limited to the check amounts awarded to the chosen participants.
CMIYC is not responsible for what happens before, during and after any dates planned or created by the users.
Participants agree to indemnify and hold CMIYC harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation in the contest.
CMIYC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice.
CMIYC is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to, Instagram outages, app malfunctions, or internet connectivity problems.
All decisions made by the CMIYC team are subjective, final and binding.
By participating, you grant CMIYC the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use your submitted content for promotional, marketing, and any other purposes, without any compensation.
Entries must be posted between April 22nd and May 20th.
Winners will be announced on May 22nd via the @catchmeifyoucanapp Instagram account.
Entries that violate our Community Guidelines will be disqualified and banned.
This contest is not sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram.
Participants acknowledge and agree that participation in this contest involves inherent risks, and they assume all such risks.
CMIYC makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the success or outcome of any dream or plan date.
8. For safe communication and interactions:
Before meeting: Use the app's messaging features for initial communication. Avoid sharing personal information (address, phone number, etc.) until you feel comfortable.
During the date: Meet in public places and inform a friend or family member of your whereabouts. Have a plan for independent transportation.
After the date: If you encounter any inappropriate or unsafe behavior, report it immediately through the app's reporting feature.

9. Additional Tips for Participants:
Showcase your personality and style in your plan and dream date.
Use high-quality visuals to make your post stand out.
Write a compelling caption that captures the essence of your dream or plan date.
Engage with other participants and the CMIYC community. You might have more requests.
